 Ambassade des Etats Unis recrute-Un ChauffeurDuties Basic Function of the Position: Operates and maintains OSC motor vehicles. Transports OSC personnel and cargo. Under supervision, makes minor local purchases of office supplies and materiel. Maintains vehicle records. Ensures interior and exterior appearances of vehicles are acceptable for VIP. Greets incoming visitors at the airport and transport them and luggage to the hotel. Acts as messenger between OSC and Tunisian Ministries and local business firms. Performs office work under supervision of the administrative officer. Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements: EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 3 years of driving experience. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have thorough knowledge of the city of Tunis, Bizerte and other regions within Tunisia where military bases are located to include locations of residences of U.S. Mission personnel, foreign embassies and official residences along with Tunisian government offices and major civilian facilities. Education Requirements: Please copy directly from Section 15 (a) of the PD. Completion of Primary School is required Evaluations: LANGUAGE: Level 1 English (Rudimentary knowledge) and level 3 (Good working knowledge) in French and Arabic. (This will be tested) SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic technical/mechanical skills required. Truck permit highly desired. Unquestioned integrity since chauffeurs often handle office petty cash money.
