Senior Legal Counsel
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and business driven lawyer to join our Legal Affairs team, guiding and supporting the sales, marketing, and sourcing operations across the full scope of Tetra Pak?s business.

The Legal Affairs function is headed up by the Tetra Pak Group General Counsel who leads a global team of world class senior lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and corporate governance and risk management professionals.

The position can be based in Tunisia, Morocco or Algeria and will report to the Cluster Leader Legal Affairs, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

What you will do
As a Senior Legal Counsel you will:

Advise stakeholders on complex legal and business risks across multiple jurisdictions.
Advise business colleagues on all types of legal, governance and risk and strategic issues that arise in the course of market related activities, including contracts, claims, disputes, anti-trust law, litigations, general corporate and commercial law, insolvency, export control, food/product safety, data protection and other regulatory issues.
Help to develop and implement policies, processes, template agreements, checklists and other supporting tools.
Train and develop business and legal colleagues in various legal and governance areas.
Help to select, manage, and develop external legal advisers.
Who you are
We believe you are:

Highly skilled professional with a law degree from a reputable university and a minimum of 6 years? experience as in-house counsel in a multinational business of comparable size and/or in a leading law firm advising multinational businesses.
Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
A driven, resourceful and quick self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
A strategic thinker who can apply their intellect and creativity in providing sound risk assessments and innovative legal solutions.
Practical, persuasive and a team-player with the ability to collaborate at all levels and across divisions, geographies and cultures.
